Ostolistat is a fictional small-molecule agent described in theoretical bone biology literature as an inhibitor of osteoclast-mediated bone resorption. It is not a real, approved drug, and there is no clinical data supporting its efficacy or safety.

In speculative descriptions, ostolistat is an oral compound designed to interfere with osteoclast differentiation and function, aiming to reduce bone resorption while allowing normal bone formation.
