Osteimages refers to visual representations of bone tissue, typically generated through various imaging modalities. These images are crucial in medical diagnostics, surgical planning, and research related to skeletal health. Common methods for acquiring osteimages include X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and bone scintigraphy. Each technique offers different insights into bone structure, density, and potential abnormalities.

Radiography, the oldest and most widely used method, provides two-dimensional images that are effective for detecting fractures, dislocations, and assessing bone alignment.
