Oprnýchs are a fictional species originating from the planet Xylos in the K'tharr system. They are known for their unique bioluminescent skin, which changes color and intensity based on their emotional state and environmental conditions. This bioluminescence serves as a primary form of communication within their species, allowing for complex expressions of mood, intent, and social status.

Physically, Oprnýchs are characterized by their slender build, elongated limbs, and large, multifaceted eyes that grant them exceptional vision in low-light conditions. These leaders, often referred to as 'Luminaries,' are responsible for guiding the Glimmer's decisions and ensuring the well-being of its members.
