Ohitusventtiiliä

An ohitusventtiili, often translated as a bypass valve, is a component found in various mechanical and fluid systems. Its primary function is to redirect flow around a particular section of the system. This redirection can serve several purposes, depending on the application.

In heating systems, an ohitusventtiili might be used to bypass a radiator if it needs to be serviced or if the system needs to maintain circulation without heating a specific zone. In some industrial processes, it can be employed to control pressure or temperature by diverting a portion of the fluid flow. This allows for fine-tuning of operating conditions and can prevent damage to sensitive equipment.
