Oesling

Oesling is the northern natural region of Luxembourg. In Luxembourgish it is called Oësling. It forms the northern third of the country and is part of the Ardennes, a broad upland area extending into Belgium and France. The region lies east of the Sûre river and north of the Gutland, and its landscapes are marked by long forested ridges, limestone hills, and deep river valleys cut by the Our and Sûre.
