Oedipa

Oedipa is a fictional character created by author Thomas Pynchon. She is the protagonist of his 1966 novel, "The Crying of Lot 49." The novel follows Oedipa Maas as she navigates a complex and often bewildering mystery after her ex-lover, Pierce Inverarity, dies and names her executrix of his estate.
