OECDLeitprinzipien

The OECDLeitprinzipien, or OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, are recommendations by governments to multinational enterprises. They provide voluntary principles and standards for responsible business conduct in a global context. The guidelines cover a wide range of areas including corporate governance, employment and industrial relations, environment, combating bribery, consumer interests, science, technology and innovation, and competition. National Contact Points (NCPs) are established by each adhering government to promote the guidelines and to handle complaints that may arise regarding their implementation. These NCPs offer a platform for dialogue and can facilitate mediation between parties involved in disputes related to the guidelines. The OECDLeitprinzipien are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect evolving global challenges and best practices in responsible business conduct.
