Novosviiruses

Novosviiruses are a recently identified group of RNA viruses. Their classification is still under investigation, but preliminary studies suggest they belong to a novel viral family. These viruses have been detected in various environmental samples, including soil and water, and have also been found to infect certain species of invertebrates. The genome of novosviiruses is linear and single-stranded RNA, with a positive-sense orientation. Their virions are enveloped, with a roughly spherical morphology.
