Normeinschränkung
Normeinschränkung, translated as "norm restriction" or "norm limitation," refers to a concept within sociology and social psychology that describes the process by which established social norms are modified, weakened, or are no longer universally applied or enforced. This can occur due to a variety of factors, including societal shifts, cultural evolution, technological advancements, or significant historical events. When a norm is restricted, its prescriptive or proscriptive power over individual behavior diminishes, leading to greater variability in how people act in relation to that norm.
The weakening of norms does not necessarily imply their complete disappearance. Instead, it suggests a transition
