Normalbohrer

Normalbohrer, also known as a standard drill bit, is a common cutting tool used in machining and DIY applications to create holes in various materials. Its design typically features a cylindrical shank that fits into a drill chuck and a conical cutting head with helical flutes. These flutes serve to withdraw the swarf or chips produced during the drilling process and also act as channels for coolant to lubricate and cool the cutting edge.
