NormalFairytype

NormalFairytype is a hypothetical fan-created Pokémon type combination that merges the Normal-type with the Fairy-type. In the established Pokémon universe, no officially released Pokémon possesses this typing. This combination is a subject of discussion among fans due to the potential strengths and weaknesses it could present.

The Normal-type is known for its broad offensive coverage and immunity to Ghost-type attacks. The Fairy-type, introduced in Generation VI, is strong against Fighting, Dragon, and Dark types, and is resistant to Fighting, Bug, and Dark types. It is weak to Poison and Steel types.

A Pokémon with the NormalFairytype typing would likely inherit the immunities and resistances of both types. This could include immunity to Ghost-type attacks from the Normal typing and resistance to Fighting, Bug, and Dark-type attacks from the Fairy typing. Offensively, it would gain STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) on both Normal and Fairy-type moves.

The theoretical weaknesses of a NormalFairytype Pokémon would arise from the weaknesses of both types. Steel and Poison types would be super effective against it, as both are super effective against Fairy-type Pokémon. The combination does not inherently add new weaknesses beyond those already present in its constituent types. Its offensive potential would be considerable, capable of hitting a wide range of Pokémon for neutral or super-effective damage. This fan-made typing remains a popular hypothetical scenario within the Pokémon community.
