Noncontrastively

Noncontrastively is an adverb that describes a method or process performed without the use of contrast agents. In medical imaging, contrast agents are substances that are introduced into the body to enhance the visibility of certain tissues or structures during scans like X-rays, CT scans, or MRI. When an imaging procedure is performed noncontrastively, it means that no such enhancing agent was administered.
