Nonauthorized

Nonauthorized is an infrequently used adjective formed by joining non- with authorized to indicate a lack of permission. It is not recognized as standard English in major dictionaries, and many style guides prefer alternatives such as unauthorized or non-authorized.

Because it is nonstandard, nonaauthorized can appear in informal writing, creative uses, or as a typographical error. It may convey the same general sense as unauthorized—lacking permission or approval—but could be seen as awkward or unclear in formal contexts. In practice, writers typically reserve the term for tongue-in-cheek or experimental prose, or rely on more conventional wording.

In technical contexts, especially in information security or access-control documentation, nonauthorized action or nonauthorized access may appear as a label or variable name, though the standard wording is unauthorized access or not authorized. When clarity is important, the conventional forms are preferred.
