Similarly, chemical nomenclature provides a systematic way to name chemical compounds. The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) is the primary body responsible for establishing and maintaining the rules of chemical nomenclature. This ensures that chemists worldwide can unambiguously communicate about specific substances.
