Nibiru

Nibiru, also known as Planet X, is a hypothetical planet suggested by some to orbit the Sun on a long elliptical path. The concept of Nibiru originated from the writings of Zecharia Sitchin, who interpreted ancient Sumerian texts to suggest the existence of a large planet in our solar system that was home to an alien race. Sitchin claimed that this planet, Nibiru, periodically passes through the inner solar system, causing gravitational disturbances and potential catastrophic events on Earth.

The existence of Nibiru is not supported by mainstream astronomy. Scientists have not found any observational evidence for such a planet. Extensive sky surveys have failed to detect any celestial bodies that match the descriptions of Nibiru. Astronomers rely on established laws of physics, such as gravity, to explain the orbits of planets and other celestial objects. The hypothetical orbit of Nibiru, and its supposed effects on other planets, would be inconsistent with these laws.

Despite the lack of scientific evidence, the idea of Nibiru has persisted in various pseudoscientific and fringe communities. It is often linked to doomsday predictions and conspiracy theories, with claims that its close approach to Earth will cause widespread destruction. However, these claims are not based on scientific observation or theory. The scientific community generally regards Nibiru as a fictional concept, not a real astronomical object.
