Ngai
Ngai, also known as Engai or Enkai, is the supreme deity of the Maasai people of Kenya and northern Tanzania. In Maasai cosmology, Ngai is the creator of the world and the source of life, rain, and order. The deity is traditionally associated with the heavens and with high places such as mountains, and prayers, offerings, and rituals are used to appeal to Ngai for guidance and blessings. The Maasai often treat Ngai as a single god who can manifest in different forms depending on context.
