Neutrinosubatomic refers to neutrinos, which are fundamental subatomic particles. They are elementary particles of the lepton family. Due to their weak interaction with matter, neutrinos can travel vast distances through the universe unimpeded. Billions of neutrinos from the Sun pass through the Earth every second without interacting. Detecting neutrinos is challenging because of their elusive nature. Specialized detectors, often located deep underground to shield them from other particles, are used to observe the rare instances when a neutrino does interact with an atom. The study of neutrinos is crucial for understanding stellar evolution, the early universe, and fundamental physics beyond the Standard Model. Experiments have shown that neutrinos can oscillate between different flavors, a phenomenon that directly implies they possess mass.
