NeufBrisach
Neuf-Brisach is a town and commune in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region of Alsace in northeastern France. It is located on the Rhine river, opposite the German city of Breisach am Rhein. The town was built by Vauban, the famous military engineer of King Louis XIV, between 1699 and 1703 as a fortified border town. Its grid-like layout and imposing fortifications are a testament to 17th-century military architecture.
