Nesnel is a fictional town and municipal seat in the northern region of Valoria. It is the administrative center of Nesnel County and a modest commercial hub for surrounding villages. Located along the Nesnel River, the town sits at the foothills of the Elden Range and experiences a temperate, relatively wet climate.

History: Nesnel originated as a market settlement in the 12th century, expanding around a riverside crossing. It gained county status in the 15th century and developed a wood and textile trade corridor during the 18th and 19th centuries. The arrival of the railway in the 1860s connected Nesnel to major cities, spurring growth.

Economy: The economy combines agriculture, small-scale manufacturing, and public services. Apple orchards and grain fields surround the town, while light woodwork and textile workshops operate in historic quarters. The service sector, including education and healthcare, forms a large share of employment.

Culture and landmarks: Nesnel hosts an annual Festival of Light and Market in late summer. Notable landmarks include the partially restored Nesnel Castle ruins, Saint Helia Cathedral from the 16th century, and the 19th-century Market Hall.
