Nervplexus is a term encountered in some medical and educational contexts to denote a network of interwoven peripheral nerves within a region, typically referring to what is classically called a nerve plexus. It is not a standard anatomical term with a universally accepted definition, and its usage may vary between sources, sometimes serving as an informal or conceptual reference to complex innervation patterns.

Etymology-wise, the word combines nervus, the Latin for nerve, with plexus, meaning a braided or interwoven network. In standard anatomy, nerve plexuses are formed when spinal nerve roots ramify, mingle, and reassemble into multiple distal nerves that supply specific regions of the body. The major human plexuses include the cervical, brachial, lumbar, and sacral plexuses, as well as autonomic plexuses such as those in the gut. A nervplexus discussion typically centers on such interconnections, redundancy, and the distribution of fibers to muscles and skin.

Anatomically, a plexus features convergence and divergence of nerve fibers from adjacent roots or trunks, providing alternative pathways for innervation.
