Ndërtimor

Ndërtimor is an Albanian term that denotes relation to construction or building activities. It functions primarily as an adjective describing things connected with construction, such as processes, materials, and technologies. The word is formed from the noun ndërtim (construction, building) with the agent suffix -or, which yields an attribute meaning “construction-related.”

In ordinary usage, ndërtimor appears in phrases such as industria ndërtimore (construction industry), materiale ndërtimore (construction materials), teknologji ndërtimore (construction technology), and projekt ndërtimor (construction project). It is less common as a stand-alone noun; for a person who performs construction work, Albanian normally uses terms like ndërtues or punonjës ndërtimi.

Context and scope: the term is widely used in Albanian-language discourse related to engineering, architecture, urban planning, policy, and regulation. It can appear in legal texts discussing construction codes, planning approvals, and public works, as well as in economic analyses of the construction sector.
