Naxxramas

Naxxramas is a massive floating necropolis located in the Dragonblight region of Northrend in the world of Warcraft. It was originally a bastion of the Lich King's power, serving as a headquarters for his most fearsome champions, the Four Horsemen. The structure itself is a testament to dark magic, filled with undead abominations, corrupted beings, and the lingering influence of death.

The necropolis is divided into several wings, each with its own distinct theme and challenges. These include the Arachnid Quarter, the Military Quarter, the Construct Quarter, the Plague Wing, and the central Apex of Domination where the Lich King's most powerful servants resided. Adventurers have repeatedly attempted to breach Naxxramas, seeking to dismantle its power and defeat the threats within.

During the events of the Knights of the Ebon Blade, Naxxramas was eventually relocated to the north of Eastern Plaguelands, becoming a direct threat to the human kingdoms. Later, it was again moved by the power of the Argent Crusade, ultimately being taken by the heroes of the Alliance and Horde to the frozen wastes of Northrend. Its history is deeply intertwined with the rise and fall of the Scourge and the ongoing struggle against the forces of undeath.
