Nanoceluloza refers to cellulose in the nanoscale. Cellulose is a natural polymer, the main structural component of plant cell walls. Nanocelulozë materials are derived from this abundant natural resource through various mechanical, chemical, or enzymatic treatments that break down cellulose fibers into much smaller structures, typically in the range of 1 to 100 nanometers. These nanoscale structures can take different forms, including cellulose nanofibers (CNFs) and cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs).
