Naftatooted

Naftatooted, often referred to as petroleum products or oil products, are substances derived from crude oil through the refining process. Crude oil is a naturally occurring, complex mixture of hydrocarbons found in underground deposits. The refining process separates crude oil into various fractions based on their boiling points.

Common naftatooted include gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, kerosene, and lubricating oils. Gasoline is primarily used as fuel for internal combustion engines in vehicles. Diesel fuel powers diesel engines, commonly found in trucks, buses, and some trains. Jet fuel is used in aircraft. Kerosene has various applications, including as a lamp oil and in some heating systems. Lubricating oils reduce friction between moving parts in machinery.

Beyond fuels and lubricants, naftatooted also form the basis for a vast array of petrochemicals. These include plastics, synthetic fibers, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. The versatility of hydrocarbons derived from crude oil makes naftatooted essential to modern industrial economies and daily life. However, their extraction, refining, and combustion also raise significant environmental concerns, particularly regarding air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
