Nabeshima
Nabeshima refers to a prominent Japanese samurai clan that rose to political prominence in the Edo period as rulers of Saga Domain in Hizen Province, Kyushu. The clan governed a semi-autonomous domain under the Tokugawa shogunate from the early 17th century to the Meiji Restoration, with their seat at Saga Castle. The domain was important for its agricultural output and for its involvement in local mining and porcelain trade.
