NTNUs
NTNU, or Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet, is a Norwegian public research university. It was established in 1996 as a merger of the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH) and the University of Trondheim, which itself was a merger of the University of Trondheim and the Norwegian College of Fisheries Science. NTNU is located in Trondheim, Ålesund, and Gjøvik. It is the largest university in Norway by number of students, with a significant focus on technology and the natural sciences.
