It refers to substances or processes employed to decrease the emission of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from various sources, particularly combustion processes. The primary goal of using NOxpelkistysjä is to convert harmful nitrogen oxides into less harmful substances, such as nitrogen gas (N2) and water (H2O).
