NMRteknikkaa
NMRteknikkaa is a term that can refer to various aspects of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) technology. NMR is a powerful analytical technique used in chemistry, physics, biology, and medicine to determine the structure of molecules and study their dynamics. The fundamental principle behind NMR is the magnetic properties of atomic nuclei. Certain atomic nuclei, such as hydrogen-1 (¹H), carbon-13 (¹³C), and phosphorus-31 (³¹P), possess a property called nuclear spin. When placed in a strong magnetic field, these nuclei align themselves in specific orientations. Applying radiofrequency pulses can then excite these nuclei, causing them to absorb and re-emit energy at characteristic frequencies. This absorbed and re-emitted energy, or resonance, is detected and processed to generate an NMR spectrum.
