NFCyhteydet

NFCyhteydet refers to Near Field Communication connections. NFC is a short-range wireless communication technology that enables two electronic devices to communicate with each other when they are brought close together, typically within a distance of 4 centimeters or less. This technology operates on radio frequency identification (RFID) principles and is built upon existing NFC standards.

NFCyhteydet can be utilized in various applications. One of the most common uses is for contactless payments, where a user can tap their NFC-enabled smartphone or payment card to a point-of-sale terminal to complete a transaction. Another application is in access control systems, such as unlocking doors or boarding public transport. NFC can also facilitate simple data transfer between devices, like sharing contact information or pairing with Bluetooth devices.

The technology requires two devices to have NFC capabilities. One device typically acts as an initiator, generating a radio frequency field that powers the other device, which is often a passive tag. This passive tag then transmits its data in response to the initiator's field. NFC operates at a frequency of 13.56 MHz and supports data transfer rates up to 424 kbit/s. Security is a key consideration, and NFC communication can be encrypted to protect sensitive information.
