Näyttökertoimia, often translated as "display multipliers" or "screen multipliers," refers to the technical concept of how a digital display's native resolution is scaled or multiplied to fit different screen sizes or to achieve higher perceived resolutions. In essence, it describes the relationship between the physical pixels on a screen and the logical pixels that are rendered by the operating system or graphics card.

The primary purpose of näyttökertoimia is to ensure that content is displayed clearly and legibly on devices with varying pixel densities. For instance, a device with a high pixel density, like a modern smartphone or tablet, might utilize a näyttökertoimia to render elements at a larger logical size than their physical pixel dimensions would suggest.
