Märkäsumuvoitelu

Märkäsumuvoitelu, also known as mist lubrication or oil mist lubrication, is a method of delivering lubricant to machinery components. It involves atomizing oil into a fine mist of tiny droplets suspended in a stream of compressed air. This mist is then conveyed through tubing to the points where lubrication is needed, such as bearings, gears, and cutting tools. The air acts as a carrier and also helps to cool the components.

The primary advantage of märkäsumuvoitelu is its ability to provide continuous, controlled lubrication to moving parts. The fine mist can penetrate tight spaces and coat surfaces evenly, ensuring that lubricant reaches critical wear areas. This can lead to reduced friction, extended component life, and improved operational efficiency.
