Supportive care includes bone-targeted agents, hydration, prevention of infections, vaccinations, and monitoring of kidney and blood function.

In research, myelomarelated is used to categorize complications, treatment effects, and patient outcomes. Advances in targeted therapies and combination regimens have improved survival, while attention to organ protection and quality of life remains central.
