Muzaffarid
The Muzaffarid dynasty was a Persianate dynasty of Turkic Mamluk origin that ruled over parts of Greater Iran, including Fars, Kerman, and eastern Iraq, from the mid-14th century to the late 14th century. The dynasty was founded by Sharaf al-Din Muzaffar, a commander in the Ilkhanate army. His son, Mubariz al-Din Muhammad, expanded the dynasty's territory significantly, establishing a strong independent state.
