Mutnovsky is a stratovolcano located in the southern part of the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia. It is one of the most active volcanoes in the region, known for its frequent eruptive activity and significant geothermal features. The volcano is part of the Southern Kamchatka Volcanic Belt and is situated approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) south of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
