Multiple-entry is a designation used in travel and immigration to describe a visa or permit that allows the holder to enter a country on more than one occasion during its validity. A multiple-entry visa contrasts with a single-entry visa, which permits only one entry.

The validity period can vary widely, from months to years; the number of entries and the maximum duration of each stay are set by the issuing authority. Fees and processing times vary by country and visa type. In practice, a holder may travel freely between visits, but must still comply with border controls and admissibility rules on entry.

Limitations and considerations include cost, renewal requirements, and the possibility of revocation. Multiple-entry visas can simplify travel for frequent visitors, but travelers should monitor expiration dates and entry conditions to avoid overstays or denial of entry.
