Mulde
The Mulde is a river in eastern Germany, a left tributary of the Elbe. It is formed by the confluence of two headstreams, the Freiberger Mulde and the Zwickauer Mulde, in the state of Saxony. From there it generally flows northward through Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, draining parts of the Ore Mountains and the Central Saxon Uplands before joining the Elbe near Dessau-Roßlau.
