Mordors

Mordors refers to the dark, volcanic land that serves as the domain of the Dark Lord Sauron in J.R.R. Tolkien's fictional world of Middle-earth. Situated in the southeastern part of the continent, Mordor is characterized by its desolate and corrupted landscape. Its borders are largely defined by natural fortifications such as the jagged mountain ranges of the Ephel Dúath (Mountains of Shadow) to the west and the Ash Mountains to the north.

The heart of Mordor is the vast plain of Gorgoroth, a barren and ash-covered wasteland. Dominating this plain is Mount Doom, also known as Orodruin, a fiery volcano that plays a crucial role in the story. It is within Mount Doom that the One Ring was forged and ultimately destroyed. Sauron's formidable fortress, Barad-dûr, the Dark Tower, was located in the northeastern part of Mordor, near the eastern foothills of the Ash Mountains.

The climate of Mordor is harsh, with perpetual darkness often obscuring the sky due to the volcanic ash and the malevolent influence of Sauron. While the land itself is largely devoid of natural life, it is populated by Orcs, Trolls, and other foul creatures that serve Sauron's will. The economy of Mordor is entirely geared towards war and the production of weapons and armies for Sauron's campaigns of conquest. Mordor represents a place of ultimate evil and a stark contrast to the more vibrant and natural regions of Middle-earth.
