Monteagud

Monteagud is a municipality located in the province of Almería, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It is situated in the eastern part of the province, approximately 40 kilometers from the provincial capital, Almería. The municipality covers an area of 29 square kilometers and is part of the region known as Los Filabres-Tabernas.

The economy of Monteagud has historically been linked to agriculture, with olive groves and vineyards being prominent crops.
