Monsooni
Monsooni is a term that refers to the seasonal reversal of winds that occurs in certain regions, most notably across South Asia and Southeast Asia. This phenomenon is driven by the differential heating of land and sea. During the summer months, the landmass heats up more quickly than the surrounding oceans, causing the air above the land to become less dense and rise. This creates a low-pressure area over the land. Moist air from the cooler ocean is then drawn inland to replace the rising air, resulting in heavy rainfall. This is known as the summer monsoon.
