MolalitätKonzept
MolalitätKonzept refers to the molality of a solution, a fundamental concept in chemistry. Molality is defined as the amount of solute, measured in moles, divided by the mass of the solvent, measured in kilograms. This is represented by the formula: molality (m) = moles of solute / kilograms of solvent. Unlike molarity, which uses the volume of the solution, molality uses the mass of the solvent. This distinction is important because the mass of a solvent does not change with temperature, whereas its volume does. Consequently, molality is a temperature-independent measure of concentration.
The unit of molality is moles per kilogram (mol/kg), often abbreviated as 'm'. For example, a solution
