MoSCoWtyökalulla

MoSCoWtyökalulla refers to the application of the MoSCoW prioritization technique. MoSCoW is a method used in project management and product development to categorize requirements into four distinct groups: Must have, Should have, Could have, and Won't have (this time). The technique is attributed to Dai Clegg and was first used by Oracle Corporation.

The "Must have" category includes requirements that are absolutely essential for the product or project to be successful. Without these, the project would likely fail. "Should have" requirements are important and add significant value, but the project can still succeed without them, though they would be missed. "Could have" requirements are desirable but not essential. They are often seen as "nice-to-haves" and can be included if time and resources permit. Finally, "Won't have" (or "Would like to have but won't have this time") are requirements that are recognized as valuable but are explicitly excluded from the current iteration or project phase.
