Mitalakrestä
Mitalakrestä is a Finnish military decoration awarded to individuals who have distinguished themselves in combat or other military operations. The term "mitalakrestä" translates to "medal cross" in English. It is one of the highest military decorations in Finland, second only to the Mannerheim Cross. The Mitalakrestä was established in 1918, during the Finnish Civil War, and has since been awarded to both Finnish and foreign military personnel for bravery and exceptional service.
