Miscavige

David Miscavige is the leader of the Church of Scientology. He assumed leadership of the church in 1992, succeeding the founder L. Ron Hubbard. Miscavige was born in 1960 and joined the Church of Scientology in his late teens. He rose through the ranks of the organization and became a close associate of Hubbard.

Under Miscavige's leadership, the Church of Scientology has undergone significant expansion in terms of its real estate holdings and its presence in various countries. He has overseen the acquisition of numerous large buildings, often referred to as "orgs" or "celebrity centers," in major cities around the world. The church has also continued its public relations efforts and its advocacy for religious freedom.

Miscavige's tenure has also been marked by controversy and scrutiny. The Church of Scientology has faced allegations from former members regarding harsh internal practices and financial dealings.
