Mindrolling

Mindrolling, also spelled Mindroling, denotes a prominent tradition and monastic institution within Tibetan Buddhism. It is the seat of the Mindrolling lineage, a major branch of the Nyingma school, and one of the historic centers associated with the tradition’s revival and diffusion. The Mindrolling Monastery originated in Central Tibet in the 17th century as a large complex devoted to meditation, monastic learning, and tulku lineages.
