Mikroszakadásokból, a Hungarian term, translates to "from micro-breaks" or "out of micro-breaks" in English. It refers to a concept of incorporating very short, frequent periods of rest or movement into a longer activity, typically work or study. The underlying principle is that these brief interruptions can prevent mental fatigue, physical strain, and improve overall productivity and well-being. Instead of prolonged periods of uninterrupted effort, the idea is to intersperse short, deliberate pauses.

The duration of these micro-breaks is typically very short, often ranging from 30 seconds to a few minutes. During these intervals, individuals might stand up, stretch, walk around briefly, look away from their screen, or engage in a simple mindfulness exercise. The key is that the break is short enough not to disrupt the flow of the main task significantly but long enough to offer a physiological and psychological reset.

The benefits attributed to micro-breaks include reduced eye strain, improved circulation, decreased muscle tension, and enhanced focus upon returning to the task. It is believed that by preventing the build-up of fatigue and discomfort, micro-breaks can lead to more sustained concentration and higher quality output over time.
