Metalloproteashämmare

Metalloproteashämmare, also known as metalloproteinase inhibitors or MMP inhibitors, are molecules that block the activity of metalloproteinases. Metalloproteinases are a family of enzymes that play crucial roles in various physiological and pathological processes, including tissue remodeling, wound healing, and cell signaling. However, their dysregulation can contribute to diseases such as cancer, arthritis, and cardiovascular disorders.
