Metaboliaaineet, commonly referred to as metabolites, are the intermediate or end products of metabolism. This field aims to identify and quantify all metabolites present in a biological sample, providing insights into physiological states, disease conditions, and responses to environmental stimuli. Understanding metabolites is vital for various disciplines, including medicine, agriculture, and biotechnology.
