Membránközvetített refers to a process or phenomenon that occurs through or is mediated by a biological membrane. In molecular biology and cell biology, this term describes mechanisms where interactions, signal transduction, or transport across a cell membrane are facilitated. For example, membrane-bound receptors on the surface of a cell can receive external signals, initiating a cascade of events within the cell. This is a form of membránközvetített signaling.
