Megállapodás

Megállapodás is a Hungarian noun meaning an agreement or settlement reached between two or more parties. In legal language, megállapodás is often distinguished from szerződés (contract) by emphasizing the agreement’s consensual origin and practical effect, while not all megállapodás are enforceable in the same way as contracts; enforceability depends on the terms and the applicable law.
