Maryport
Maryport is a coastal town and civil parish in the County of Cumbria, England, situated on the western side of the Solway Firth within the historic county of Cumberland. The town lies at the mouth of the River Ellen and is part of the Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith parliamentary constituency. According to the 2011 Census the population of Maryport civil parish was 10,921, giving the settlement a population density of roughly 1,200 people per square kilometre.
